Princess castle cake

I cant believe my first born has turned 4!  Those years seem to have disappeared in a wink!

I like to attempt the girls birthday cakes and this year I had a request for a princess castle cake.
After some research I came up with a plan of how to create this cake.
I used an 8inch maderia cake and used swiss rolls to create the turrets. To finish off the pointy spires I used waffle ice cream cones.
I was reasonably pleased with the finished cake and glad to say Abigail and her friends loved it! The finishing touch for her Princess party. :)
